How to turn ordinary sounds into designed ones? | Can Barbie dolls be Velociraptors?

In this video I show you an example of how I turned the sound of one of my daughter's Barbie dolls into the sound for the Velociraptor in Jurassic Park. I stumbled across the sound and it really inspired me to record, which is something that permeated the reason for this video. I talk a bit about the discussion around sound libraries vs your own recorded sounds and why I think you should always make the choices that best serve the project.
