AAA sound effect with an iPhone??

The iPhone can be a great resource for a sound designer. It can sometimes be a struggle to take the first step and start recording your own source material, but as they say: "the best microphone is the one you carry with you". The quality of your recordings should not be compared to other microphones, but since everyone has a smartphone, it can be a great way to get started quickly and experiment. In this video, I recreated a dice roll UI sound from Baldur's Gate 3 using only my iPhone as a sound recorder.
